In layman's terms, the word epiphany describes a "light bulb" experience when one comes to realize something profound. The original Greek word means "the appearance or miraculous phenomenon" and describes a Christian feast intended to celebrate the 'shining forth' or revelation of God to humankind in the person of Jesus. We hope to be all about revealing Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him.
Why Station?
According to dictionary.com, it is the place, building, or establishment from which a service is provided or operations are directed. Also, a stopping place along a route (path or journey), especially a stop for refueling or for taking on passengers. Our goal is to be just that. The church isn't the final destination, it's just home base -- a place to come together for a time, but always to be focusing outward toward others in our community.
